I am a software engineer focused on building interactive user interfaces which are functional, aesthetically appealing and user friendly.

Right from my early school days I had a deep fascination for electronics with an inclination towards building things which led me to pursue my Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, majoring in Electronics from Anna University in Chennai, Tamilnadu, India. I was offered a role whilst finishing my degree as an Analyst with Amazon.com. I started my career with the retail business team within Amazon.

A few weeks into the role, I was hooked on the job as it dealt with massive amounts of data transactions between various web-based portals. My day-to-day activities involved operations where I began automating tasks using small scripts in order to increase process efficiency, save time and reduce manual touchpoints. It was here, that I forayed into automating methodologies which shifted my paradigm towards building software solutions to solve problems at hand.

Through my time at Amazon, I wore many hats which involved advanced data analysis, managing operational teams and processes, designing and on-boarding solutions across entire marketplaces and building software solutions.

My desire to travel, explore and introspect my individuality led me to relocate to Canada. I was offered a permanent resident-ship in the highly skilled migrant category. My passion to live and start new, led me to land in a project-based role with a startup in downtown Toronto called Hatchways where I furthered my depth in software development by building a fundraiser application and a Kanban board application along with a team in an agile-scrum environment.

I then went on to join a food delivery start-up company called CheaprEats where i built both the mobile and web platforms of a food delivery application used by customers and vendors. Followed by pioneering a web platform of an education marketplace SaaS used by educators and parents at a start-up company called Dreamschools. Followed by being a part of an employee rewards and recognition platform company called Achievers where I designed and developed its core features like Recognitions and Feedback surveys.

My experience/ passion towards new challenges, love for code and data has led me to explore the realms of technology. I also have a keen eye on the AI and ML world which I am planning to pursue on the side in its entirety over time.
